[Debian] 時刻を自動的に同期する

概要

サーバーの時刻を ntp を使用して自動的に同期する。
今回は同期元として NICT の ntp サーバーを利用。

環境

• Debian 8 (jessie)

手順

ntp のインストール

$ su -
# aptitude update
# aputitude install ntp

設定

/etc/ntp.conf の元からある server をコメントアウトし、pool を追加する、

# pool.ntp.org maps to about 1000 low-stratum NTP servers.  Your server will
# pick a different set every time it starts up.  Please consider joining the
# pool: 
#server 0.debian.pool.ntp.org iburst
#server 1.debian.pool.ntp.org iburst
#server 2.debian.pool.ntp.org iburst
#server 3.debian.pool.ntp.org iburst
pool ntp.nict.jp iburst

pool を使用することで、ラウンドロビンにより複数の IP を返す場合に、全てを指定したことになる。

再起動

ntp サーバーを再起動する。

$ sudo systemctl restart ntp.service

確認

ntpq -p コマンドで以下の用に表示されていることを確認。

$ ntpq -p
     remote           refid      st t when poll reach   delay   offset  jitter
==============================================================================
 ntp-b3.nict.go. .NICT.           1 u    -   64    1   20.678   -0.331   0.231
 ntp-b2.nict.go. .NICT.           1 u    1   64    1   23.889    2.353   0.000

数分後に以下の用に表示されていれば同期されている。
（* がついているサーバーと同期）
